Lisa woke up in a pile of cold sweat, puffing and panting. It was all a dream she thought to herself, only a worthless dream. Three months earlier Lisa broke up with her boyfriend Thomas, ever since then she started to have very strange dreams about him. Mostly it ended up with her waking up before she even knew what was happening. Lisa lived in a small one bedroom house; it was the only thing that she could afford on her small wage. She worked at a place called Theodore’s, a small cafe in the city, she earned a fair amount of money, but most of it went to food and the house bills. Ever since she broke up with Thomas her life was a lot better, she could go anywhere she pleased without him always asking where she was going. Thomas always was overly protective of Lisa as she has good looks and an excellent body. Tom would always tell her that she was ugly so she would gain low self esteem about herself. But to everyone else she was the most beautiful person that anyone has ever seen. Lisa was in her early twenties and looking great, brown hair, beautiful big brown eyes, long slim legs, a great tan and an hourglass figure. You could almost say that she looked Italian. In fact she actually had a great grandmother who was Italian. All the men that saw Lisa couldn't keep their eyes off her. Lisa always thought that maybe she was so ugly that people stared at her in disgust. But that was never the case.
Lisa looked at the alarm clock, it was four o'clock in the morning, no wonder she was still tired. She started work at ten o'clock, so she had a while to go. She then drifted off into a sombre sleep. 'No, please stop Tom. Tom!' Lisa woke up again two hours later with the same dream engraved into her mind, it kept getting worse every time she fell asleep. She rubbed her eyes and slowly got out of bed. In the shower Lisa thought to herself how her day would be, her boss Julie was always cheery and happy and was best friends with Lisa, they spent most of their time together. For Lisa's twenty fist birthday, Julie took her out for a night one the town. It ended up with Lisa getting drunk and having to catch a cab back home. Lisa thought about it and started to laugh, all the good times she had without Tom were great. Lisa always got depressed whenever she thought about Tom; the way he use to treat her was appalling. She decided to stop thinking about him and get out of the shower. She had breakfast, got dressed and was out the door. Lisa was proud of her car, her parents bought it for her, it was a brand new Holden caprice. Lisa wasn't really into cars but she loved her own. Her parents were loaded with money, but Lisa wanted to do everything by herself. By now it was nine thirty and Lisa was pulling into the driveway of her work.
As soon as Lisa walked into the door, Julie was all over her. 'How was you week Liz?' That was Julie's nickname for her. Lisa had to think for a moment, then it came to her, “well Julz nothing much to tell you the truth”, Julie always liked knowing what was happening to Lisa, ever since they first met they became instant friends. “well my weekend has been very crappy, I woke up with the worst headache and I’m also having a bad hair day.” Lisa was use to Julie complaining all the time, it wasn’t really complaining, Julie was just the type that liked her looks. She was also into her twenties and older then Lisa, she had blonde hair, blue eyes a fair complexion, great legs and a nice body, most men would drool over Julie and she knew it. “Julie as always your hair is fine and you look great” Lisa always had to say a compliment to Julie, which she had gotten use to. Lisa finally got to work and Julie was busy with her work also. At lunch time Lisa had to serve a table for two, which she noticed two men sitting at this table, Lisa couldn’t help but notice that the man sitting on the left was irresistible, dark blue eyes, blonde hair, well dressed and by the looks of him an excellent body. All day she couldn’t stop thinking about him, after Tom this was the only other guy she had ever thought about. At the end of her shift Julie noticed something in Lisa’s eyes, something that wasn’t there before. Later that night when Lisa got home she thought about relaxing on the lounge with her feet up and watching sappy romance movies, when all of a sudden the phone rang. Who could have guessed, it was Julie as always wanting to know if she wanted to go out, “come on Liz, you know that you’re just dying to come out and party with me.” All Lisa wanted to do was have a nice long hot bath and go to bed, “no, it’s ok Julie, I’ll pass this time up but I’ll be sure to come next time.” Satisfied that she had made a good decision Julie gave in and ended up calling some other friends to party with that night.
That night Lisa had gotten over her dreams about Tom, instead she had dreams about this mysterious man that she met at the café, they dined, talked about anything and later they danced. It was the first time that Lisa woke up feeling happy and the first time that she had gotten a good night sleep for ages, she thought that maybe it might be interesting to find out who this guy really was, and there was one person that she could go to for everything she wanted to know, and that was Jessica. Jess knew everything that was happening in her town, as she called it. She knew who was hot and who was not. So Lisa decided to give her a call early in the morning. “Hey Jess, it’s Lisa” basically jess wasn’t a morning person. “huh? Lisa oh hey hows it going?”
